From the ever-green farms of Bengal, Sona Moong Dal is synonymous to Bengali cuisine, has a distinct colour, size and aroma and gives every grain the inimitable taste of good health.

Sona Moong Dool, which is synonymous to the Bengali cuisine has a distinct colour , size and aroma which is very different from the normal Moong daal available across the country. Unlike the normal Moong which grows as green colour pulse, Sona Moong used to grow as golden colour pulse with smaller grain size.

At GFPL, this variety of Moong {premium) is sourced from the states of West Bengal, Bihar and Tamil Nadu. Arrangement has been made with companies who have high speed camera controlled scanner machines which separates the low grade (brown/black in colour) leaving behind a perfect batch of clean golden yellow colour Moong dal.
